Willamette Wineworks continues its weekly live music series Saturday night, June 8 with the indie folk artist known as RIVVRS on stage at the Historic Folsom venue that offers a relaxing atmosphere along with fine wines and small plates to enjoy.
Originally based in Napa RIVVRS first got his start performing in the wine industry. When his debut single “I Will Follow You” was unexpectedly written into an NBC show & reached #3 on the Apple charts, he took the opportunity to pursue his dreams of making music professionally.
RIVVRS has since released 4 albums, garnering more than 100 million streams and 100 features across film and tv, all while remaining an independent artist. He has been lucky enough to grace the stage with some of his biggest influences including Jewel, Brett Dennen and others. He has performed on some of the most sought-after stages in California, including the main stage at Bottlerock Napa Valley.
On his new album “Sunlight of the spirit” RIVVRS returns to his roots with a raw collection of Americana songs about his journey through addiction, recovery, and spiritual discovery.
The live music will begin at 6:00 p.m. and continues until 9:00 p.m. Saturday night. Reservation fees for the live music evening are $5, with refunds for wine club members and owners. Admission for the general public will be $5 at the door. More information or reservations visit the Willamette Wineworks’ website or by emailing them at info@willamettewineworks.com.
