`Two former Folsom High School Bulldog players, who now play at the National Football League level, are set to return home to their alma mater later this week to host a pair of unique football camps for local high school athletes right on the same field where they launched their football careers playing for the Bulldogs.
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Jake Browning will host the SAC Town 10 football camp at Folsom High School on Friday, June 21st, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The camp is designed for 10 participants from 9th to 12th grade. Browning, who attended Folsom High School, set national and state records for passing yards and touchdowns during his high school career.
A four-star recruit, he went on to play for the University of Washington, becoming the school’s all-time passing leader. Browning signed with the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 2019 and later joined the Bengals, where he currently competes as a backup quarterback. This past season, he became the third NFL QB since 1950 to record at least 1500 passing yards and 10 TDs with a completion percentage of 70 or higher in his first seven career starts.
Arizona Cardinals offensive tackle Jonah Williams will host a Big Skills Clinic for 12 campers in grades 9-12 at Folsom High School on Sunday, June 23rd, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Participants will be provided with a meal from Beach Hut Deli and a goodie bag from Williams.
Williams, another one of the many standouts from Folsom High School, showcased his talent at Alabama (2016–2018), earning several accolades including being a unanimous All-American (2018), recipient of the Jacobs Blocking Trophy (2018), CFP national champion (2017), Third-team All-American (2017), and two-time First-team All-SEC (2017, 2018), as well as Second-team All-SEC (2016). Drafted in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals, Williams played with them until 2023 before joining the Arizona Cardinals in 2024.
Both camps aim to provide local high school athletes with the opportunity to learn from professionals who once walked the same halls and played on the same fields at Folsom High School.
