Dignity Health Mercy Hospital of Folsom is celebrating its 35th anniversary with a social media contest, inviting former patients to share their birth stories. As part of the celebration, the hospital will make a $500 donation to a Folsom-based nonprofit chosen by the contest winner.

Mercy Folsom, which has been serving the Folsom community for over three decades, is asking past patients of the hospital’s Family Birth Center to submit their birth stories online. Those who participate will be entered into a drawing for the chance to select a local nonprofit to receive a donation in their honor.

The contest is open now through September 30, 2024, and participants can submit their stories via an online form here.

The hospital’s Family Birth Center has been a vital part of the community, helping to welcome thousands of babies and providing essential care to mothers and newborns. This contest is an opportunity for the hospital to give back to the community while celebrating the many families it has served over the years.

To enter the contest, participants need to share their birth story with Mercy Hospital Folsom and submit it through the online form by September 30, 2024. The winner will be selected to choose a local nonprofit to receive a $500 donation from the hospital.
