The City of Folsom has welcomed four new faces to the Folsom Police Department this week as it continues to strengthen its force to serve the city’s growing needs. The four new officers were sworn in at the department by the Folsom City Clerk last week.
Chare Farjardo is one of the new officers that was sworn in. A graduated of the Sacramento Police Academy, Fajardo has an associat’es degree in criminal justice from Liberty University.
Officer Coleton Ramsey, a June 20 graduate of the of Sacramento Police Academy has also joined the department. Ramsey comes from a family of law enforcement. Ramsey has a bachelor’s degree from Utah State University.
Officer Joseph Wagner who has joined the force is following in his father’s footsteps. He has his bachelor’s degree from CSUS and also recently graduated from the Sacramento Police Academy earlier this month.
Officer Ryan Stockton has made a career change recently. A former paramedic with the Sacramento Fire Department, Stockton also served in the United States Air Force.
“We are excited to introduce our four newest officers,” stated the Folsom Police Department. “Having recently finished the Academy, these officers are working hard on their field training and getting ready to go on patrol.
