The City of Folsom’s Summer of Music Series concludes its 2024 series presented by the Folsom Parks and Recreation District this Friday night. The music of the Modern Relics will conclude the four-night series spanning June and July that takes to the gazebo stage at Folsom City Lions Park, bringing area residents another family friendly free option to get outside and enjoy live music.
According to their promotional materials, the Modern Relics sets out on a mission in all of their stage performances to play all of the new wave hits of the 80’s that everyone remembers, and some of you forgot. No matter what they play, they are sure to keep the audience dancing all night long.
Folsom City Park, also known as Lions Park, is located near city hall and next to the Folsom Public Library at 411 Stafford Street in Folsom. The concerts take place from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. on their scheduled nights. At all of the Summer of Music concerts the motto is come for the music but stay for the fun. This Friday, food trucks and vendors will be serving up plenty of grub and delights to enjoy during the show to make it a date or a fun family night.
Following this Friday night, the concert series will welcome the R&B of Innersoul on July 12 and the rock band Modern Relics on July 26.
I addition to the live music, a number of well-known area food trucks will be on site with plenty of tasty eats and sweets. The Modern Relics will hit the stage starting at 7 p.m. sharp and will continue to 9 p.m.
