El DORADO HILLS – The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an El Dorado Hills burglary that occurred early Saturday morning.
The incident occurred at the Lake Forest apartment complex on Village Center Drive. Deputies were dispatched at approximately 6:20 a.m. after receiving reports of a burglary in which a firearm was stolen and another firearm was discharged.
Upon arrival, deputies secured the scene and initiated an investigation. Two persons of interest have been detained, but authorities are seeking one additional individual: Jacob Andrew Goldie, 38, of Placerville. Detectives emphasize the importance of speaking with Goldie, who may be in possession of the stolen handgun.
The Sheriff’s Office urges anyone with information regarding Goldie’s whereabouts to contact them immediately. The department released a photograph of Goldie from a previous interaction to assist with gaining information on his location.
