As Dignity Health Mercy Hospital of Folsom marks its 35th anniversary, we commemorate our remarkable journey of growth and service. For three and a half decades, we’ve upheld an unwavering commitment to providing exceptional healthcare and remained steadfast in our dedication to the Folsom community that we have been fortunate enough to grow alongside, myself included. As a mom of three, my husband and I couldn’t imagine a better community to build our life.

We have witnessed firsthand how our hospital is an integral part of Folsom’s fabric. Many of our team members have a similar story, because Mercy Folsom is more than a hospital – it is a cornerstone of our community. Our staff includes many residents who are your neighbors, friends, and family members.

As we reflect on this milestone, we want to thank the community for entrusting us with your health care needs. Whether you have come to us to deliver a baby, repair a knee or shoulder to get back out on the court, or for emergency care, we have been there every step of the way. We are honored to provide healing, comfort and support to you and your families during these moments.

As we continue to evolve and grow with our community, innovation has been a core focus for us. Ranging from the latest advanced imaging techniques to minimally invasive surgeries. Mercy Folsom has been at the forefront in medicine to give you, your family and friends the best chance at a healthier and happier life.

Mercy Folsom’s commitment to advancing the health and wellness of our community extends well beyond the hospital walls. Our connection to the community is what truly sets us apart. Our incredible team of physicians, nurses, and staff live and work here and are invested in making it as vibrant and healthy as possible. Through staff volunteer efforts and monetary support from the hospital, we help address critical issues facing residents, including food insecurity, mental health, homelessness and access to healthcare for underserved populations.

Looking ahead, our expansion at Folsom Ranch is a testament to our enduring commitment to meet the healthcare needs of Folsom and beyond. Our Advanced Ambulatory Care Center – set to break ground in the spring of 2025 – is phase one of what will eventually be a fully integrated medical campus.

As we celebrate 35 years of service, we reaffirm our dedication to innovation, commit to setting deeper roots in the community, and promise to uphold our mission to provide compassionate, high-quality care for generations to come.

Here’s to the next 35 years of making a difference together, Folsom.
