Fall has arrived, and with it a busy calendar of events and opportunities in Folsom. Here are a few highlights that we at Choose Folsom are looking forward to. I hope you can join us for some, if not all of them.

HER Women’s Expo and Social: This year’s HER Women’s Expo and Social on October 3 at the Piazza at the Palladio promises to be an unforgettable evening.

Our annual women’s networking event will feature wine tasting, light bites, live music, vendor booths, and plenty of opportunities to connect with like-minded entrepreneurs, leaders, and business owners.

In addition, this is a kickoff event to the 2025 HER Conference. All attendees will receive inside information about next year’s can’t-miss event.

Future Folsom: Our Future Folsom series always provides an informative, sometimes deep, dive into issues important to our business community.

Join me on October 23 at Bayside Folsom for another insightful event that focuses on the state of the Highway 50 corridor. We have been collaborating with all the jurisdictions along the corridor, to share developments in our sub-region

It will be a useful opportunity to learn about how to collaborate on projects along the Highway 50 Corridor. You’ll hear from regional representatives including Rich Desmond, Sacramento County Supervisor, District 3; Micah Runner, Rancho Cordova City Manager; Mike Kozlowski, Mayor, City of Folsom; Wendy Thomas – Chair, El Dorado County Board of Supervisors; and Cleve Morris, Placerville City Manager.

You’ll also hear from David Lichtman, publisher of the Sacramento Business Journal, who will provide a firsthand look at the current trends and challenges in our local economy.

Register now to stay informed and engaged with the future of our region.

Foothill Wine Fest: It’s my favorite way to experience the Sierra Foothills, one taste at a time. The Foothill Wine Fest is back on November 9 and promises to be a celebration of flavor and festivity!

Sample award-winning from over 30 wineries. Explore the vibrant outdoor atmosphere as you savor delicious bites from local vendors, all while enjoying the sounds of live music.

Whether you consider yourself an oenophile, love good wine, or want an excuse to get together with friends, the Foothill Wine Festival is the perfect way to celebrate the flavors of our region.  Learn more and buy tickets at FoothillWineFest.com.
