Starting the Sunday SacRT is making significant improvements to bus service in Folsom to serve the community better.
SacRT has announced the addition of weekend service on bus route F10, providing more opportunities for convenient travel throughout the city.
What’s Changing?
New Weekend Service on Route F10: Weekend service will begin on bus route F10, including stops along Main Avenue and Madison Avenue.
Changes to American River Canyon Drive: While bus route F10 will no longer serve stops on American River Canyon Drive, the first-morning and the last two evening trips will continue to serve this area.
Route F20 Enhancements: Bus service has been extended to serve Blue Ravine Road to East Bidwell Street and Creekside Drive, including a stop near Folsom Middle School and Creekside Drive. The morning trip departs Empire Ranch Road 13 minutes earlier at 7:27 a.m.
Discontinuation of Route F30: Due to low ridership, bus route F30 will be discontinued. The savings from this change will be reinvested into enhancing bus route F10. If you need transportation to or from Folsom Prison, Folsom SmaRT Ride offers convenient on-demand service.
Enhanced Light Rail Service Coming Soon: SacRT continues construction efforts to bring 15-minute service frequency to the Folsom area light rail stations. This project is expected to be completed in October 2024.
