A road closure is in place on Bidwell Street in Folsom Thursday afternoon due to broken gas line. The incident has forced the closure Bidwell Street in both directions between Folsom Boulevard and Sibley Streets.
The incident occurred at 2:50 p.m. and was originally dispatched as a possible structure fire on the 800 block of Orange Grove Way in Folsom. Upon arrival to the scene, Folsom firefighters reported that the incident involved large broken gas line that was struck by a backhoe working in the area.
