A Folsom man is facing felony charges following a vehicle accident in which he allegedly struck a motorcyclist intentionally.
On Tuesday evening, just before 8 p.m., the Folsom Police Department, along with the Folsom Fire Department, responded to a vehicle accident on East Bidwell Street at the intersection of Iron Point Road. Upon arrival, first responders found a motorcyclist who had been struck from behind and run over by a sports utility vehicle.

Erickson was arrested and booked into Sacramento County Jail, where he faces charges of PC 245(A)(1) for assault with a deadly weapon.
According to Sacramento County Jail records, Erickson is currently ineligible for bail and remains in custody. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Sacramento County Court on Thursday at 3:00 p.m.
