Looking for a new furry friend to add some excitement to your life? Meet Millicent, a charming Belgian Malinois mix eagerly waiting for her forever home at the Bradshaw Animal Shelter in Sacramento County.

Millicent, affectionately named by shelter staff, is a 7-month-old female with a striking tan and black coat. Weighing around 35 pounds, she’s the perfect size for both indoor cuddles and outdoor adventures. Since arriving at the shelter on July 11, Millicent has shown a gentle and shy demeanor, making her a great companion for someone willing to provide patience and love as she builds her confidence.

Despite her initial shyness, Millicent truly shines in shelter playgroups. She loves interacting with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a confident mentor dog to show her the ropes. If you have a dog at home already, bring them along for a meet and greet to see if Millicent could be their new best friend!

To meet Millicent in person, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter any Tuesday through Sunday from Noon to 5:00 pm, with extended hours until 6:00 pm on Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, so don’t wait too long to visit! Remember to bring your ID and note down Millicent’s Animal ID number to expedite the adoption process.

Bradshaw Animal Shelter is located at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento. Millicent can’t wait to meet you and embark on new adventures together. Adopting Millicent not only brings joy to your home but also opens up space for another deserving pet to find their forever family.  See more about this available pet in the video below.
