Multiple units from the Folsom Fire Department and the El Dorado Hills Fire Department have responded to a reported structure fire at In-N-Out Burger in Folsom Thursday night.
At 8:14 p.m. units were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival firefighters reported the building was filled with smoke and began confirming the restaurant had been evacuated of all staff and patrons. As firefighters entered the building, they immediately observed heavy black smoke coming out of the men’s restroom area.
Per radio traffic, firefighters were securing a water line for an initial attack and checking for extension into the attic area of the restaurant.

Update: 8:31 pm: firefighters report active fire has been extinguished and restaurant remain evacuated.
Update 8:42 pm: El Dorado Hills units have been released from incident. Folsom Fire and Police remain on scene investigating the incident and working to reset fire alarm sensors. A total of three Folsom Fire unit, Truck 35 and one medic unit remain on scene. Building remains evacuated from the public at this time.
